McVeigh's
annual stand-up comedy competition
gives 35 comics five minutes
each over a five week period.
But on the final night it
was all about the lucky number
seven. After some difficult
decision-making, the panel
of celebrity judges awarded
the winner $777 and a week
of guest spots at Absolute
Comedy.
Many
of the finalists are regulars
at McVeigh's on-going stand-up
night. You can catch them
and other comedians Thursdays
at 9:30 pm at McVeigh's Irish
Pub, 124 Church Street in
Toronto.
