Love
him or hate him, Reg Hartt
is something of a Toronto
legend. Known
for his black and white posters
plastered throughout the downtown
core, the Cineforum founder
has screened unusual flicks
in the city since the 60s,
and in his house on Bathurst
Street since 1992.
The
films - ranging from Nosforatu
(with score by Radiohead)
to the 1949 version of The
Fountainhead - attract
a mix of academics, activists,
artists and other locals who
frequently get an earful of
Hartt's opinions, observations
and experiences as part of
the show. To find out more
